Elopements are way too small to hire a traditional party planner, but they also require enough planning that you could use a helping hand...
So while I’ll be there to capture your good side amongst epic backgrounds, I’ll also make sure to give you the best experience possible that feels like you. And we’ll be fast friends in no time!
Help you plan a day focused on you.
Create an experience centered around what matters to you two the most.
Give you the space and permission to incorporate your unique ideas and just be yourselves.
One of my favorite things is to share the outdoors with couples and help them have their most memorable adventure yet! Photographing adventure weddings and elopements is what I’m best at, but it's so much more to me than just a job.
Ever since I can remember, I have always had the freedom and the desire to explore the outdoors. Growing up in Minnesota, I spent my summers running barefoot outside, building tree forts with friends, catching frogs, making art, and getting lost in nature.
Let’s just say not much has changed—except today, I spend my days in sunny California, still barefoot, getting lost in nature. And instead of painting landscapes, I’m immersed in them and living out the best days in the presence of excited couples while capturing their real love story in nature.
I moved to California 8 years ago to experience more diverse scenery. I took the leap with no job and no connections. Talk about following my bliss!
I want to travel to space someday.
I’m PADI scuba certified and have done most dives in Hawaii. I love underwater photography, so if you are looking for an underwater shoot, we are a match made in heaven!
My background in fine art and photojournalism overlap so well with telling authentic stories with an artistic approach through imagery.
My favorite pastimes include finding new ways to fall in love with my surroundings, hiking new trails, hot spring soaking, road-tripping, and eternal sunset chasing with my camera.
I love visiting cold and wintery places—even Antarctica! I can’t wait to try ice climbing.
I’ve been to all seven continents, and 25 countries—and counting!
I’ve been traveling internationally since I was 14, and the travel bug has never left!

being well traveled means that I've gotten into a lot of unplanned situations which means that i'm always prepared for multiple backup plans and can switch directions on the fly. It's no wonder I ended up as an elopement photographer, honestly.
"Jennifer's keen eye and dedication to such a stylistic approach have us loving each and every single picture captured. It was more than a pleasure to have her with us every step of that day; it was like hanging with two gal pals! WE COULD NOT HAVE ASKED FOR ANY BETTER ARTISTIC VISION than hers. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND JENNIFER'S TALENT to each and every couple out there that wants something fresh and unique when considering a photographer."
"Jenn captures every moment at every angle. This isn't your traditional photography! This is a new age of photography where the surroundings become as important as the people! The beauty of laughter, angles, and exposure bring out perfect pictures! YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME CHOOSING WHICH PHOTOS YOU WANT IN YOUR ALBUM!”
“We hired Jenn to take our engagement photos out in Joshua Tree. She straight-up SLAYED every photo, spent so much time with us, and was so fun to work with. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH. I say this as an art director who works with photographers on photoshoots all the time at my job: hire this woman! You won't regret it.”
“We were thrilled with how the photos turned out. Jenn is a very skilled editor and has a wonderful aesthetic. I KNEW IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT FOR MY PHOTOGRAPHER HUSBAND TO FIND A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER WHO HE TRUSTED, BUT WE ARE BLTH SO GLAD THAT JENN SHOT OUR WEDDING. She will make your vision come true and is an absolute pleasure to work with.”
