One of my favorite things is to share the outdoors with couples and help them have their most memorable adventure yet! Photographing adventure weddings and elopements is what I’m best at, but it's so much more to me than just a job.
This is the best job in the world as far as I’m concerned! I started photographing weddings when I was a junior in college more than a decade ago. Since then, I’ve built my life around adventure and preserving lasting relationships and memories for all types of couples.
Ever since I can remember, I have always had the freedom and the desire to explore the outdoors. Growing up in Minnesota, I spent my summers running barefoot outside, building tree forts with friends, catching frogs, making art, and getting lost in nature.
Let’s just say not much has changed—except today, I spend my days in sunny California, still barefoot, getting lost in nature. And instead of painting landscapes, I’m immersed in them and living out the best days in the presence of excited couples while capturing their real love story in nature.
I moved to California 10 years ago to live near all the beautiful scenery. I didn't know a single person in California! Talk about following my bliss!
I want to travel to space someday.
I’m PADI scuba certified and have done most dives in Hawaii. I love underwater photography, so if you are looking for an underwater shoot, we are a match made in heaven!
My background in fine art and photojournalism overlap so well with telling authentic stories with an artistic approach through imagery.
My favorite pastimes include finding new ways to fall in love with my surroundings, hiking new trails, hot spring soaking, road-tripping, and eternal sunset chasing with my camera.
I love visiting cold and wintery places—even Antarctica! I can’t wait to try ice climbing.
I’ve been to all seven continents, and 25 countries—and counting!
I’ve been traveling internationally since I was 14, and the travel bug has never left!
