Ernie and Jacqui pulled off quite the Music Festival themed wedding! It was inspiring to see how they went all out with their vision. I think it’s a huge testament for couples who are both so involved in the wedding and working so hard to make it uniquely their own. It shows Ernie and Jacqui both care about this important milestone of their lives, and they enjoy working with each other to achieve a common goal. This goes deeper than having a themed wedding or anything in the material world. This mentality of wedding planning carries over into other facets of life. That level of closeness allows them to relish and celebrate during the good moments of being alive and also allows them to fully comfort one another during the challenging and disappointing times. Jacqui has been battling cancer since college and is still going through treatment. And somehow, they planned this incredible event in the middle of it. These two put a lot of effort into making the story of their life memorable and meaningful and we feel honored to have been a part of it!
I have to point out, the music at their wedding was some of the best we’ve ever heard at any wedding. Charles Rangel, a percussive guitarist played at the ceremony, The Old Fashioned played during the cocktail hour, and Sugar Rum Tantrums played a set during the reception. Chris Smooth was fantastic with both MC’ing and DJ’ing. Monrose catering also served Poke, and Portos Bakery was for desert! They had personalized lanyards as their table cards and blankets as their party favor. I really loved all the originality they put into their save the date, which was a poster and the corresponding invitation which was designed in a brochure style fashion.
