Colin and Lisa really know how to plan one helluva wedding. What stands out the most is that I can tell these two work really hard in life for things they care about. Nothing worthwhile in life magically appears. You have to put a lot of time, effort and care into things for it all come together and look flawless. Colin is an optometrist and Lisa is currently in dental school so they are not strangers to stress and hard work. I think one of the most rewarding things about working hard in life is that it allows the privilege and resources to make life so much more than just about your own self. For many on Lisa’s side, it was their first time in Hawaii and they rented this wonderful property close to the beach and had a cook-out the day before with her immediate family. The whole family were having time of their lives, and it was all because of Lisa and Colin’s thoughtfulness and ability to do these things. Colin was born and raised on Oahu, and I can tell Lisa shares an equal amount of pride in his Hawaiian heritage. They both live on the mainland, so having their wedding in Hawaii was pretty special. Typically destination weddings are small due to the sheer amount of logistics it takes to plan, so it was incredible to see how many friends from the mainland and people from Lisa’s side flew in to show their support and be a part of their day. Their day was full of breathtaking views, great food and party atmosphere. These two have so many talents and things going for them and I was so pumped to be there capturing all the festivities. I wish Colin and Lisa a lifetime of happiness!
