One of my favorite things about elopements is that no two are ever the same. Every couple brings their unique style and vision, and Patricia and Salomonβs day was the perfect reflection of that. Their elopement at Garrapata State Park was intimate, relaxed, and filled with spontaneous, joyful moments. β¨

Getting Ready at the Tickle Pink Inn π
Coastal Views and Morning Calm β
We began the day at the Tickle Pink Inn in the Carmel Highlands, where Patricia and Salomon had a gorgeous corner room overlooking the ocean. The peaceful sound of waves set the tone as they got ready togetherβsuch a sweet and grounding way to start the day. Patricia hired a professional hair and makeup artist to help her get ready, and the vibe was all smiles and excitement.

Exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea π‘
Fairy Tale Vibes at Carmel City Hall π
After getting ready, we headed into Carmel-by-the-Sea to take some portraits at the picturesque City Hall, which looks like itβs straight out of a storybook. Patriciaβs fun personality shone through, especially with her shoes that matched the iconic teal door!
We had a spontaneous moment when Patricia decided to apply for a βhigh heels permitββa quirky piece of Carmel history. πͺ Even more fun? Some friendly tourists surprised them with βwedding cookiesβ from a local bakery! πͺ The kind energy of the town added such a special touch.

Sunset at Garrapata State Park π
Calla Lily Valley in Full Bloom π€
For their sunset session, we met up at Garrapata State Park, one of the most breathtaking spots on the Big Sur coast. Patricia and Salomon had carefully planned their visit to Calla Lily Valley during peak bloomβand it was magical. Towering calla lilies surrounded us in this hidden, flower-filled valley right next to the beach.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, we wandered down to the shoreline for golden hour and blue hour portraits with the waves crashing behind them. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.

A Romantic Dinner to End the Day π·
Celebrating at Casanova Restaurant π
Patricia and Salomon wrapped up their elopement day with a cozy, romantic dinner at Casanova Restaurant in downtown Carmel, dining in the charming Van Gogh Room. I captured a few last photos of them thereβjust soaking in the moment and their first evening as newlyweds. π«
Their Garrapata State Park elopement was full of intention, joy, and unforgettable memoriesβexactly what an elopement should be.
