Their morning began with a sunrise ceremony overlooking Half Dome 🌄, surrounded by their closest family members and Stephanie’s best friend. The soft glow of early light combined with drifting wildfire smoke created a one-of-a-kind atmosphere—proof that Yosemite always delivers something unexpected and stunning.

One of the most important parts of Stephanie and Jonathan’s small elopement wedding was including their two dogs. Thanks to Yosemite’s dog-friendly paved trails, their pups were able to be part of the morning portraits. Celebrating After the Ceremony at The Ahwahnee 🍽️
After their ceremony and portraits around Glacier Point, everyone gathered for lunch at The Ahwahnee Dining Room. Recently reopened after years of construction, it was the perfect setting for an intimate family meal. Sharing stories, laughter, and champagne together made their small elopement wedding feel both elevated and heartfelt.
Fog, Cliffs, and Magic at Taft Point 🌫️
As the day came to a close, Yosemite delivered yet another surprise. Their sunset session at Taft Point was filled with rolling fog and dramatic cliffsides. The mist moved in and out, revealing sheer drop-offs and endless layers of wilderness. It was mysterious, emotional, and wildly beautiful—an unforgettable ending to their small elopement wedding.
