Michelle and Christoper were looking for an adventure wedding photographer and reached out to me for their small wedding in Malibu. It’s been such a pleasure helping Michelle and Christopher plan and photograph their small wedding at Malibu Solstice Vineyards these past months. Michelle is a person you want to pack up and put in your pocket to carry everywhere because she’s so cheery and comfortable to be around. When her and Christopher first reached out, I knew they were really going to love having a small wedding in Malibu. Nothing beats the panoramic views of both the ocean, mountains, and magical sunsets of Southern California. In the days leading up to their wedding, it was quite windy in the area and was getting quite chilly at night, but by a stroke of luck, their wedding day was calm, sunny, clear, and warm!
Some of my favorite vignettes of the day included photographing the candid moments of Michelle getting ready, capturing Christopher as he saw Michelle for the first time walking down the aisle, and the sunset portraits of them.
When it comes to helping brides plan their intimate wedding, even with only 10 guests, teamwork is vital to help pull off the day successfully. So thank you to Tina, my day-of coordinator, my second photographer, and videographer to help with the guests and capture all the memories. Thank you to Pierre’s Catering for taking care of cocktail hour and dinner. Cheers to a wild 2020 and Michelle and Christopher for ending the year with the beginning of the grandest adventure they will ever have!
