Yosemite Hiking Elopement
Julissa and Silverio’s dreamy mountain elopement in Yosemite National Park was nothing short of spectacular! Traveling all the way from Texas, they were eager for an adventurous elopement with plenty of hiking in one of the most iconic landscapes in the world. On a beautiful summer day with perfect weather, we set out on a trail that wound through majestic pine trees and offered stunning vista views of Yosemite.
Julissa’s choice of attire was both practical and stylish—she wore a white hiking dress that perfectly matched her white hiking boots. This thoughtful touch was just one of the many ways Julissa and Silverio made their elopement uniquely their own. They personalized their day with matching hiking boots and backpacks, and their vow books and ring box were inscribed with their names and wedding date. I especially loved how Silverio’s wedding ring was etched with an image of Half Dome, one of Yosemite’s most famous landmarks. These special details added so much personality to their day and made their elopement truly memorable.
Cliffside Elopement Ceremony
As we hiked, Julissa and Silverio took in the breathtaking scenery, and when it was time to change into their wedding clothes, I set up a handy pop-up dressing tent on the trail. We continued our hike to a stunning cliffside location just in time for sunset. The view was incredible as they exchanged their heartfelt vows with the vast beauty of Yosemite as their backdrop. As an ordained elopement photographer, I had the honor of pronouncing them married and signing their marriage license, making their union official in such a meaningful place.

Just as the sun began to set, Julissa and Silverio surprised me with a special moment! They pulled out tiny baby boots and asked to take a baby announcement photo! It was a joyful surprise! I felt so privileged to be part of this intimate moment that they were keeping a secret until after their elopement.
We ended the day with a breathtaking sunset, capturing the final moments of their elopement. Yosemite’s beauty never disappoints! This day was a perfect reflection of Julissa and Silverio’s love and excitement for their growing family.
