Their chosen venue was a private cabin rented through Airbnb, providing the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love and tranquility.

The journey, however, took an unexpected turn halfway through the planning when the couple discovered they were expecting. Rather than letting it hinder their celebration, it added an extra layer of joy and anticipation to the proceedings.
A Cozy Cabin In The Forest
The morning began with a sense of calm as Amanda had her hair and makeup expertly done by a professional artist. Amanda’s whimsical vision for her hair, adorned with braids and flowers, came to life! Her hair pieces complemented the professional bouquet she had crafted to match her unique style.
The first look between Amanda and Kolby was nothing short of magical. Kolby couldn’t help but express his admiration for his bride-to-be! He kept saying over and over, “Wow, you’re so pretty!” This created a sweet moment that set the tone for the day.

Venturing about a half mile into the nearby redwoods, the couple embraced the natural beauty around them. I captured sweet moments amid the towering trees. Amidst the towering giants, we discovered a small waterfall, adding a touch of magic to their love story. The sound of cascading water, the soft rustle of leaves, and the dappled sunlight all converged to create a picturesque backdrop for their elopement photos.
A Pizza Picnic
A break back at the cabin included a pizza snack! They relaxed amidst the sounds of birds chirping in the trees nearby and the endless views of redwoods surrounding their cabin.
Cliffside Ceremony With Ocean Views
The cliffside ceremony, with the ocean waves crashing against the rocks, was a breathtaking backdrop for their vows and ring exchange. As the sun dipped below the horizon, Golden Hour provided the perfect lighting for capturing the couple’s love amid the stunning surroundings.

Despite being a few months pregnant, Amanda fearlessly navigated the rocky cliffsides, embodying the strength and beauty of motherhood. The day concluded with a unity ceremony on the beach, where they played and splashed in the ocean. Their day concluded by being surrounded by the brilliant colors of the sunset.
