Michelle and Rudy’s Sequoia National Park elopement was nothing short of magical. Living in Visalia, California, the foothills of Sequoia National Park had always been a familiar sight to them. Yet, despite being so close, Michelle and Rudy had never explored the park’s wonders until their wedding day. This new adventure was the perfect way to celebrate their love story, joined by an intimate group of family members. After the elopement, they planned a larger reception to celebrate with more friends and loved ones.
The First Look Moment in The Parker Group
Their warm autumn elopement took place on a beautiful September day. Michelle and Rudy kicked off the occasion with a heartwarming “First Look” moment at The Parker Group, one of Sequoia National Park’s most picturesque areas. Arriving in separate cars to keep the surprise intact, Michelle and Rudy’s emotions ran high as Rudy turned to see Michelle for the first time. Surrounded by towering sequoias, their family members watched from a distance, sharing in the heartfelt moment.
Ceremony In Crescent Meadow Sequoia National Park
The ceremony itself was held at Crescent Meadow, one of Sequoia National Park’s approved wedding venues. Michelle had her heart set on a ceremony overlooking the meadow, and the setting exceeded all expectations. Against this breathtaking backdrop, the couple exchanged personal vows. Their love story began in kindergarten, with Rudy having a childhood crush on Michelle. They started dating in high school, and their journey to this moment has been filled with love and laughter.

After the ceremony and family photos, we explored the nearby trails for portraits among the towering sequoia trees. The forest provided the perfect setting to capture their love story, with rays of sunlight filtering through the leaves.

To end the day, we headed to Beetle Rock for sunset. As the sun dipped below the mountains, painting the sky in hues of gold and pink, it was the perfect conclusion to their unforgettable Sequoia National Park elopement. From Crescent Meadow to Beetle Rock, every moment was a testament to their love and a celebration of their new adventure together.
